6 vintage mid-twentieth century Danish Brazilian rosewood dining chairs by Dyrlund
Set of 6 vintage mid-twentieth century Danish dining chairs with brand new Scandinavian wool upholstery and striking Brazilian rosewood frames.
Produced by Dyrlund of Denmark.
These sculptural chairs are typical of mid-twentieth century Danish design displaying expert craftsmanship and having been built to last and to be comfortable.
The crescent moon shaped back rests -which appear to float in front of the tapered back legs- do not only look great but offer a good amount of back support.
The seats have been fully restored with new foam and re-upholstered in flecked duck egg blue colour wool which compliments the hues in the rosewood brilliantly.
Condition: excellent, the rosewood is finished evenly with rosewood oil which enhances the rich patina and amazing grain patterns showing in the timber and nourishes the wood.
Original maker's sticker to the underside of some of the seats.
