Borge Mogensen designed ottoman in oak
A mid-twentieth century Danish foot stool in oak with original cushion upholstered in woven fabric.
Designer: Borge Mogensen - Producer: Frederica Mobelfabrik - Model Number: 161 - Date of design: 1961
The geometrically shaped frame made of solid oak wood is a restrained design which allows the beauty of the oak to speak for itself -note the exposed construction on the corners.
The wood has an excellent grain which is complimented by the texture and colour of the vibrant red wool upholstery.
The sturdiness and generous size of the cushioned top make this ideal as either a foot stool or low occasional seat.
Condition: Good, only minimal signs of age related use consummate with age. The solid wood is chipped in places and there are marks to the frame.
Bears manufacturer's label to underside.
