Bramin teak framed rocking chair designed by Frank Reegenskaug 1958
Vintage teak framed rocking chair with original orange upholstered cushions.
The light and airy form of this rocker aesthetically epitomises Mid-20th century Scandinavian design.
The solid teak frame has been expertly crafted and formed to achieve the classic clean lines that is Nordic modernism.
The shapes within this chair are truly gorgeous but they also serve to make a surprisingly comfortable wooden chair.
The original orange cushions are a stunning compliment to the rich teak frame.
The upholstery, HALLINGDAL, was designed by Nanna Ditzel in 1966 for Kvadrat and is still in production today.
Condition: Excellent. The wood has sumptuous rich patina built up over the years.
An old repair is visible on the top left of the back. See images.
The chair can be dismantled for easy transport / shipping.
