Rosewood consol table from Danish furniture maker, early 1960s
Very clean and stylish designed 2 drawer consol table in rosewood with protective glass top.
A very practical consol table that can be used
in the dining room to store cutlery,
in the hall as a table to drop keys and store letters
in the bed room as a dressing table or desk.
The table is free standing in finished in rosewood on both sides. Its construction is of the highest standard using oak for the main structure and drawers.
The left drawer is divided internally with compartments that hints towards it being used for cutlery in the past.
This cutlery divider / liner fits into the drawer and is therefore completely removable.
The table has a lovely patina and the top is beautiful as it has been protected by the glass made to measure top.
