The chair has the lovely oak frame and teak arms. The use of 2 woods is common on Hans Wegner's designs from the 1950s and works to great effect.
The chair gets it's name from the distinctly CIGAR shaped armrests.
The cushions have been totally re-conditioned with new foam wrapped over the central sprung core. They are fully upholstered and this allows you to use both sides of the cushions.
Condition: Impressive with lovely patina. Cushions with minor signs of use consummate with age (small amount of fading)
Otherwise clean and odour free.
Frame clearly marked with makers and designers names.
