Sven Ivar Dysthe designed rosewood and leather chair by Dokka Møbler
Single rosewood framed chair with black leather upholstery by Norwegian furniture designer Ivar Dysthe.

Designer: Sven Ivar Dysthe - Producer: Dokka Møbler AS Sjefs - Year of design: 1960-61

The simple frame constructed of rounded beech core with rosewood veneer -parallel to each other- is very geometric and makes a feature of its exposed construction. These elements contrast the tapering and curved back rest and curved seat brilliantly.

Condition:
Good. The wooden frame shows signs of age related wear but this does not distract from the design. The rosewood has retained its rich colour and displays a beautiful patina. The leather upholstery -original to the chair- too has a nice patina and is lovely and soft.
