Danish teak desk with keyhole shaped top, Mid 20th Century design
Very unusual shaped petite desk in teak with lots of storage options in drawers, cupboard and open shelf
The desk is a real statement piece with is tambour sliding door on the end, the open bookcase at the back, the 3 drawers but not least the unusual shaped top.
The desk is petite but offers good work space and can be used to great effect as a room divider.
Behind the tambour door is a small compartment which has a floating shelf. I suppose you store bottles of booze for those long nights doing paperwork!
The 3 drawers on the left are all the same depth and size. The top drawer is fitted with a lock and is in perfect working order.
The desk legs are solid teak and elevate the main body to great effect and allow light under the desk to make it appear floating.
These legs are all bolted to the frame and can be removed for flat pack transport.
Condition: Stunning patina and lovely wood grain pattern in the teak.
Oiled finish nourishes and enhances the wood and patina.
