Midcentury Danish chest of drawers in teak with lipped handles
Vintage Danish teak chest of 6 drawers with lipped handles in darker burma teak and tapering legs. Made in Denmark ca 1960
Stylish chest of drawers offering good storage in all of the 6 equal depth drawers.
Each drawer has a solid teak lipped handle carved from darker burma teak for contrast. This handle spans 2/3 of the width of the drawer, making them easy to use.
Only the top drawer locks.
The drawers are all of solid joinery construction with dove tailed sides and beech plywood bottoms.
All the drawers are 4 inch / 10cm Deep
The chest of drawers has the lovely grain pattern and each drawer is unique.
Elevated off the floor by solid teak tapering legs which screw mount to the base and are therefore quick and easy to remove for transport / delivery.
Condition: Very good with lovely patina and oiled finish. A very light white paint rememant ca be seen on the left side. See images below.
The lock is in good working order and the key is supplied.
