Teak 2 seat SENATOR sofa designed by Ole Wanscher
Vintage Ole Wanscher designed 2 seat sofa / love seat with teak frame. Original sprung cushions in burgundy colour hallingdal upholstery
This elegant 2 seat sofa offers comfortable supportive seating and is ideal for lounges where you want the clean lines.
The teak frame of the sofa is very sturdy and well constructed, the generosity of the seat, sprung cushions and armrests make this a very comfortable as well as visually clean design.
Typical of an Ole Wanscher design the model 166 sofa boasts a beautifully sculptured wooden frame. The arm rests especially -wonderfully carved on one side and flat on the other- really shows off the beauty of the rich olied teak's grain.
The cushions are individual and fully upholstered so you can flip them over and use both sides.
The hallingdal upholstery from KVADRAT was designed in 1966 by NANNA DITZEL.
Condition: Very good with lovely patina and oiled finish which enhances and nourishes the teak.
Clearly marked to the frame with CADO disc. France & Son was sold in 1964 to CADO who continued to produce the designs under the CADO name.
The sofa can be completely dismantled for easy transport / shipping.
