Short and low teak credenza with sliding doors and 4 drawers.
Vintage Swedish designed short sideboard in teak with 4 drawers and sliding doors. TROEDS model TRIO
Lovely midcentury teak sideboard / credenza with sliding doors which reveal internal shelved storage. The shelf is adjustable to suit what you choose to store.
The shelf design has a sloping front which gives the apperance of being very thin.
The construction of the shelf is far from thin and dainty but made of solid block-wood to prevent any saggin under weight.
Central to the sideboard are 4 equal depth drawers with sloping drawer faces which allow the bottom the be the finger grip for opening. A small groove is carved from the bottom lip for your fingers to grip.
The top drawer is divided into compartments and has a seperate internal shallow drawer which slides on rails. This is intended to be for cutlery and both are lined with blue felt.
Blue being the colur of the Swedish flag. (Very Patriotic of Mr Jonsson)
All the internal compartments and drawers are made / lined using light sycamore wood which gives a lovely contrast to the rich teak.
The short teak tapering legs are bolted to the sub-frame and remove for transport / Delivery.
The sideboard short length makes it ideal for a number of uses including media unit, TV stand or by a dining table.
Condition: Exceptional with very minor usage signs consummate with its age.
Clean and re finshed with teak oil which both nourishes and protects the wood.
Clearly branded to inside left wall with makers mark. see images.
