Vintage elegantly curved 1940s high back armchair
Elegantly curved 1940s shell shaped armchair made using traditional, very robust, upholstery methods.
Although high-backed the shapeliness of the armchair means it would work wonderfully and perhaps be best appreciated in the middle of a room so it could be viewed from all angles.
The armchair offers low but excellently roomy and supportive seating. The shape of the seat ensures good back support and a firm seat is created by the springs. The coil springs push against the seat so it will always have the gentle curve.
The sofa stands on dark oak ball legs and is firmly on the floor.
Condition: Excellent with some signs of age and use. Original golden green colour draylon upholstery is in used but excellent condition considering the vintage of this piece.
