Vintage Danish rosewood dining table with two hidden leaves which pull out from under the top to extend the table from comfortably seat 6 to seating 10.
A very unusual table where the main top is Brazilian rosewood edged by Walnut and with a sub-frame entirely of walnut.
The table changes shape dramatically from the main table top to the extended form; from a gently curved/bulging rectangle to an ellipse.
The transformation of the able would make it ideal for use in a space-restricted multifunctional area such as a kitchen/diner or studio apartment -modernist desk by day elegant dining table by night possibly?
The table seats 6 before one or both the leaves are pulled out from under the top.
The leaves pull out independent from each other.
The table will comfortably seat 8 / 10 when fully extended.
Condition: The table is structurally perfect and has stunning deep colour of the rosewood. The oiled finish protects, nourishes and enhances the wood natural wood grain.
The table can be dismantled for easy transport as the legs are bolted to the sub-frame.
