Impressive light oak antique dresser with self locking doors
Impressive antique dresser unit in solid light oak and decoratively carved detailing on doors and drawers.
Dates from ca 1910 and made in Denmark.
This lovely dresser unit offers lots of storage in various ways.
The top cabinet with the locking doors has internal shelving which is adjustable. 1 shelf is half depth so you can stand bottles and have glasses on the shelf above.
Additional display space is available on each corner of the top section where a small shelf finished the sides.
The top stands on the baseunit and has pillar supports.
The larger much deeper base unit has 2 drawers which run the depth and each lock. The key is supplied and all the locks are in good working order.
Unique to this unit is the self locking door system which works by the main door pushing a metal pin which turns to push up a rod that hold the door locked.
While both doors have key hole only the right door locks.
Internally the base unit has 3 deep shelves which are made of solid timber as the rest of the unit.
All the solid panel doors are decoratively carved and give this unit it's unique appealing look.
Condition: Exceptional with lovely patina and natural soap washed finish.
The unit comes in two parts for easy transport.
