Antique Danish chest in aged oak with wrought iron handles, carving details and locking drop front, produced in the 1850s by Danish Cabinetmaker.
This charming chest is full of character, as youd expect for a piece thats nearly 175 years old! The oak shows waethering and gorgeous patina throughout, which is complimented by the intricate carvings throughout the face and base of the chest.
The chest features a lock in the upper centre of the chest face, allowing the large drop down door to open. This convinient opening mechanism allows items to be placed atop the chest, such as a cushion, or decorations - even a television, without needing to remove them for access. The chest has wrought iron handles either side which is not only an appealing decorative look, but practical in assisting you to move the chest more efficiently.
Inside the chest, you'll find one large solid oak shelf, which can be easily removed if necessary.

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
