Vintage pendant light in black aluminium and santos rosewood model 'Orient' designed in 1963 by Jo Hammerborg and produced by Fritz Hansen
This sleek and minimal design pendant light with black braided cord was originally designed in 1963 and produced by Danish lighting company Fog & Mørup, this example is a 2013 reissue to mark the 50th anniversary.
The shade is formed from black powder coated aluminium, allowing the light to be lightweight yet durable. The rich tone of the santos rosewood cone provides a warm contrast against the minimal black colour of the shade and cord.
The lamp features 24 narrow vertical slits near the top of the shade, helping to further diffuse the light.
Add some classic midcentury flair to your dining or living room with this stunning Danish pendant light.
