Grete Jalk dining table in vintage rosewood and black formica

  • Design: Grete Jalk
  • Producer: P Jeppesen cabinetmaker
  • Year of design: 1963

A unique and exclusive Grete Jalk design vintage rosewood dining table with central panels of black formica and 2 extra leaves designed 1963 and produced by Cabinetmaker P Jeppesen in very limited numbers. A stunning table able to seat 12 fully extended.

The table is considered among the very best of designs from Grete Jlak with it's mix of the 2 materials.
The vintage rosewood frames the black formica and makes this table entirely unique as no other.

There are 2 versions of this design - Rectangular and circular.
This version we offer here is the rarer and it is 15yrs since we last were able to offer one for sale.

To expend the table with 1 or both leaves, requires the top to be pulled open and 1 or both leaves inserted.
The leaves both have the matching edge / skirt underneath so it is unbroken when the leaves are in use.

Central to the impressive length of the table extneded is the folding suport leg that ensures the middle will not sag and the whole table is stable.

A very rare table in excellent vintage condition and exclusively available at Danish homestore.
