This exquisite & elegantly designed dining table comfortably seats 6 around the table before it is extended using the single self-stored leaf hidden inside the table.
The table extends with the leaf and when extended the table will comfortably seat 8.
Unique to this model designed by Henry W Klein are the three rosewood inserts into each corner of the table & chairs. A signature of this design by Klein
This small detail adds a lot to the overall feel and uniqueness of this dining set.
The table is supported by tapering round legs which are screwed into fittings in the table, ensuring a sturdy and strong fit.
That does make the legs easy to remove for flat-packing & easy delivery.
The self-stored leaf has never been in use and is therefore lighter (original) colour in contrast to the patina of the main top.
Condition: Very good with refinished top & some minor signs of use.
Oiled finish helps nourish the wood and bring out it's natural beauty.
