Rare vintage king size double bed designed by Hans J Wegner and produced 1967 by GETAMA model GE705
This classic bed frame in teak was designed to give you maximum sleeping space.
The bed frame is comprised of 2 individual bases which join in the middle with dowls and when the head & foot board are fitted, become a solid frame.
The bedside tables rear mount onto the headboard.
Each bedside table has a unique black glass top which is in fact purple glass that has been cast in solid colour glass so that it appears black.
The glass is no longer produced and when the bed was acquired, it only came with 1 original purple top.
We had a spare larger piece of purple glass that was cut, with much difficulty, to size and the cut marks can be seen but all the edges have been polished and rounded off.
The mattress size required for the bed is 79 inch x 79 inch - 200cm x 200cm!
That is larger than a Super king sized standard mattress and our friends at Staddons beds have quoted for a mattress to be made.

Our shipping partner DSV will then base the cost of shipping + delivery to your home address.
The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
