Description

Vintage wall unit with locking desk, built in lighting and unique door handle. Hans Wegner design.

This wall unit / writing desk is extremely well built and brilliantly versatile. The impressive teak unit is composed of a base cabinet with 2 doors concealing shelves and a top section with locking desk area, light, shelves and storage drawer.
The internal light is turned on by a small button switch on the end of the housing.

The shelves in the top part & base cabinet are adjustable and made using solid block wood to prevent them from sagging under the weight of the objects you store.
Heavy books are no match for this unit.

Condition: Superb with wonderful warm patina.
Stamped to rear with RY makers mark and production date 14th June 1954
