A rare solid teak extendable dining table with a single leaf self-stored, designed by Inger Klingenberg and produced 1960 by France & Daverkosen.
A stylish and practical dining table entirely from solid teak timbers.
This rectangular dining table is perfect for the smaller dining room as it comfortably seats 4 / 6 before it is extended.
The extra leaf, which is also solid teak, is stored under the table and accessed when the top halves are pulled apart.
The leaf and table halves have locating pins that secure the leaf when the ends are pushed back together again.
When fully extended the table can comfortably seat 8.
That the table is entirely constructed from solid timbers can be seen along the edges where the end grains of each plank is visible.
A superb rare table which is easy to keep due to the tough nature of teak.
