Very practical and spacious double bank bookcase in oak designed for Poul Hundevad by Carlo Jensen
This shallow depth bookcase is ideal for a smaller room where floor space is lacking but where you need to store a large amounts books.
The shelves are all made of solid block wood and are as true today as the day they were made.
The block wood construction prevents them from sagging under the weight of books.
2 of the shelves are structural and fixed while all the other shelves are adjustable.
The shelves are mounted over steel ribbon supports and you can adjust them by moving the supports and slide the shelf back over it again so it is hidden.
The base plinth has 4 adjustable feet which allow you to level the boocase should your flors be uneven.
Condition: Very good with lovely patina and nice wood grain.
Minor signs and marks from previous use. Small hole drilled in bottom right corner.
