Vintage beech frame windsor chair designed by Palle Suenson and produced 1947 by Frizt Hansen model FH1728
A stunning high back windsor chair made entirely of solid beech.

This elegant chair was a reworking of the traditional windsor chair but with a new more refined and elegant use of the timber.

The leg braces are gently curved as are the supports for the arm rests and the large steam bent top rail into which each spindle is secured.

The chair offers a supebly comfortable place to sit in a frame that is both solid yet also gently softened by its lines.

Condition. Exceptional with beautiful patina. All joins are solid and strong.
Remnants of Fritz Hansen paper label under seat.
