Stunning vintage HEART dining et in teak and beech designed by Hans Wegner and produced by Fritz Hansen in 1952
This classic design has become an icon of midcentury elegance in both materials used and form.
The set comprises 6 3-legged chairs with solid beech frame and laminated teak heart shaped seat. The use of 3 legs ensures that the chair will not rock or be unstable on any surface it stands on. It is also a very stable chair - even with 3 legs , as the chair has 5 legs when a person us using it!
The chairs can be stacked up making transport / storage easy.
The set is beautiful example of how wegner understood the materials and used them with ease, but to great effect.
The table and chairs are all branded with the FH logo
