Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard design vintage teak armchair in pale blue fabric upholstery made by France & Daverkosen 1951.
A stylish chair that is both a delight to look at while also a real comfortable chair to be sat in.
The gentle curve on the arm rest is created by lamination and steam bending the wood into shape and works perfectly to create a light frame that is strong and durable.
The chair, of which we have 2, is upholstered in pale blue woolen fabric over the original Wonderful Copenhagen fabric.
The original fabric was bright yellow but is not found inside the seat cushion. Only under the upholstery of the back and base frame
A real stunning piece of classic Danish design by the desigm duo of Hvidt & Molgaard and admired by millions on the set of Mad men.
Similar chairs are used in Don Drapers office and acheived almost cult status amongst collectors of Danish design.RATED 5/5 FOR INVESTMENT
