Description
Very stylish and hugely practical china cabinet made by Danish cabinet maker 1950s.
This elegant cabinet has been made using teak and oak in combination to bring a large plain surface to life as the woods contrast.
Standing high on slender legs also allows light around the cabinet giving it a gentler appearance for its size.
The panel doors have central panels in teak with oak surrounds and a large teak plywood formed handle that allow for easy gripping.
The handles are design to appear as if they are riveted to the door fase.
Behind each door lots of storage is provided by shelves on the right which all have fixed positions. To the left are movable drawer shelves for storage of glasses while the larger drawers below are intended for cutlery and linnens.
The construction of this cabinet is very well proportioned and of high quality. The drawers are all made of solid oak timbers ensuring longevity and strength.
Condition. Generally very good with lovely patina.
The right door bottom corner has been damaged and a piece of wood is missing.
The top has a cross grain scratch! See images
