Vintage teak frame rocking chair with woven papercord back and seat rest produced by Danish Cabinetmaker in 1960s.
This minimal midcentury design rocking chair boasts a sleek and simple design, with the use of only 2 materials in its construction.
The warm colour teak makes the frame of the rocking chair, which is neatly contrasted by the natural tone of the woven papercord. The wide weave of the cord allows for light to pass through the rocking chair, giving is a lighter appearance.
This chair is often mis-attributed to Frederik Kayser, however there are numerous distinct design differences in this rcking chair to Kaysers design.
A fantastic addition to the modern home, with the sleek lines of this vintage rocker making it almost sculptural in its appearance.
