Vintage CAPELLA armchair in teak with blue upholstered cushions designed by Illum Wikkelso in 1959 and produced by Eilersen, 1960s
This stylish chair features a boxy solid teak frame with removable cushions, allowing for easy cleaning if required. The frame features pirelli webbing in the base offering great comfort and support, with the teak ladder back frame for the backrest showing off the upholstery from behind whilst offering excellent support and comfort.
The chair features comfortable foam cushions that offer both support and softness.
The cushions are fully upholstered and can be used on both sides. Covers are zipped and easy to remove from cushion.
The chair was designed to be easy to dismantle and its component parts are the same throughout the range.
All that is needed to dismantle the chair is a flat head screw driver.
The design easily dismantleable design made for easy export. The original advert explained how a 3 seat sofa, 2 seat sofa, matching armchairs and 12 cushions could be packed into the size of one cubic meter!

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
