Antique Danish chest of 4 drawers in bur walnut with black painted linning.
A lovely addition to a bedroom or living room where its deep drawers provide an excellent amount of storage space.
The wood has a lovely patina and grain pattern of the bur walnut is exquisite throughout.
The chest was originally designed and constructed by an apprentice cabinetmaker as their final project.
It features black painted lining which was originally going to be made of ebony before it turned out to be too expensive.
The drawers each feature a lock and brass handles for easy access.
The drawer depths are:
Top. 3¼ inch / 8½cm
Middle two. 5½ inch / 14cm
Bottom. 7 inch / 18cm
Condition. Good with signs of use consistent with age.

All drawers run smoothly and lock, key is not supplied.
