    Stylish Victorian era design campaign chest of 5 drawers with newspaper lining.

    This unique chest of drawers offer a good storage for items such as clothes, documents etc.
    The chest is formed by two-parts, the original intention was that while out on campaign, an officer would have their belongings easily transported in a chest.

    It features two small top drawers with 3 larger drawers below them.
    The drawers run smoothly and have locks & brass handles.
    Each drawer is lined with English newspapers from the time, making this a unique item from the past.
    The drawers are all locking and 1 key is supplied.

    The drawer depths are:

    Top pair. 4½ inch / 12cm
    Middle. 6 inch / 15½cm
    Middle. 7½ inch / 19½cm
    Bottom. 8½ inch / 22cm

    Condition. Very good with lovely patina.
    Marks and signs of use present consistent with age.

    Shipping And Handling

    We are happy to assist with international shipping to any destination around the world.

    To enable us to get a price quote for your specific enquiry please email us with your full address and contact details.
    Our shipping partner DSV will then base the cost of shipping + delivery to your home address.

    The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.

    It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.

    Delivery Schedule

    We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.

    Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport

    For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.

    You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.

    You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
