Description
Very rare teak desk with steel legs and 4 drawers.
This minimalist designed desk was created by the father of modern minimalism Børge Mogensen in 1953 and it has stood the test of time and daily use.
The desk stands on very elegant satin polished steel legs which are slightly splayed out giving it a more wider stance.
2 underhung set of drawers offer storage while still allowing a large space between for legs.
The gap between the drawers is 26½ inch / 67cm wide while the clearance from the floor up is 27 inch / 69cm giving plenty of room for chair and legs.
The table has undergone restoration which has involved a metal specialist polishing the legs and careful cleaning and restoration of the teak top and drawers.
This brings the desk to appear in its best possible condition with rich patina but still retaining character and showing signs of age & use.
The desk can be dismantled for transport.
Condition. Impressive patina and character.
Signs of use and marks on the top.
