Vintage teak Grete Jalk armchair with fabric upholstered cushions.
This lovely armchair is both a delight to look at and to sit in.
The cushions are sprung for added support & comfort.
Both cushions are upholstered in fabric and are double sided so they can be used on both sides for even wear.
The fabric is in okay condition but ready to be reupholstered in a fabric of your choice.
The chair's frame has been restored and lightly oiled with teak oil which enhances the woods natural colour and wood grain.
The France & Son disc is located at the bottom of the back frame while both side frames are stamped with Made in Denmark.
Condition: Very good with beautiful warm colour to the wood, minor signs of age.
Fabric is ready for reupholstery.
This armchair is sold as a restoration project and our upholsterer, Tom, will be happy to undertake the work as he has 30+ years experience and is well versed in Danish upholstery.
This will make the armchair uniquely yours and we can recommend many differnt fabrics.
