Vintage Hans Wegner China chair in beech with original papercord seat designed for Fritz Hansen 1945.
A lovely and rare edition of Hans Wegner's 'China' series of chairs which culminated in the famous Wishbone chair.
Originally designed based off of Chinese throne chair, the FH1783 China chair features a lovely sculpturally curved back rest.
The seat bears its original woven papercord which compliments the beech frame.
Condition: Very good with lovely patina and original papercord.
The chair is stamped to the seat underside with Fritz Hansen Logo.
