An incredibly rare teak sideboard designed by Arne Vodder model OS35 produced by Sibast 1958 with drinks cabinet, coloured drawers and reversible sliding door in teak or black.
The sliding door is reversible with a black finish or all teak so you can arrange it to suit.
A unique detail that works to great effect.
The striking detail of the multi coloured drawers and the drop front bar door which opens to reveal a back lit compartment is part of this rare cabinets appeal.
Made solely for the domestic home and produced in so low numbers that i know of only 1 other to exist!
Designed for Sibast and awarded the Gold medal at the 1960 furniture Triennalle in Milan Italy, making it a classic and toady even iconic piece of furniture.
It was intended as a stand alone piece and not as many others, part of the office desk serie.
Condition. The whole sideboard has been restored, removing incorrect french polish.
Hand finished and treated with teak oil to enhance the natural patina of the teak.
