Description
Stunning vintage armchair with the shape of a huge smile front edge.
This armchair is both stylish and very comfortable as its wide seat and gently sloped back offer space to relax.
Upholstered in a off-white colour wool fabric that sets it apart from the teak legs, but is a bit faded on the arm fronts.
I think it had protective covers on the front of each arm and thus the fabric under has not been expesed to the same wear as the rest.
The teak legs have been restored and repaired as there were some loose joins. These have been piston & peg glued.
This method forces the glue deep into the join ensuring a solid bond.
Condition. Good with strong frame.
The fabric does show some marks consistent with use and age.
