Stunning vintage sideboard with sliding tambour doors and satin polished steel legs.
Known as the President sideboard and among the most admired & collected cabinets that Wegner designed for Ry Møbelfabrik.
The sideboard has been restored and brough out from under layers of Mr sheen (awful stuff) applied since the previous owner purchased it in 1956
Internal shelving and drawers are all made of light oak with both the shelves and drawers being adjustable.
The sideboard stands elegantly off the floor by satin polished steel legs which are finished with teak slippers.
The legs are removable for easy shipping.
Condition. Excellent with lovely soft wood showing beautiful colour. Oil finish helps to nourish and bring out the natural beauty of the teak.
Stamped to the rear with RY logo.
