An iconic and timeless designed dining set in vintage teak of Egg table and ANT chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced 1952 / 1953 by Fritz Hansen.
A wholly original set produced very early in 1954.
This iconic design with the 3-legged chair has won admiration worldwide ever since it was first launched.
A 3-legged chair will stand perfectly on an uneven floor but its unique design means that the chair has 5 legs when someone sits on it.
The chairs are early production from late 1953 or early 1954 as they all have the pale grey plastic covered metal legs. This was later in 1954 / 1955 changed over to be nickle plated steel legs and again later on to chromed.
This set is unique in so many ways and importantly for such an early version is that all it's chairs backs are firm and free from softness.
While the table is mostly original it does appear to have had it's legs painted many years ago.
Both the table and all the chairs have makers markings.

Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
