Vintage teak 2 seater MODULINE sofa with original green vinyl upholstery, designed in 1963 by Torben Lind & Ole Gjerlov Knudsen and produced by France & Son.
The Moduline system, created by Gjerløv & Torben, is a completely modular lounge series. Consisiting of easy chairs, armchairs and coffee tables, each eleemtn cold be fixed together to make your ideal living room suite. As described in the 1963 France and Son catalouge, the individual chairs can be coupled together to make sofas, corner-arrangements or groups.
This sofa consists of 2 Model 175 easy chairs, featuring angular teak underframe / legs. The joins are neatly deatailed with exposed mortice joints, providing the chair with a premium and textureful appearance.
The floating seat gives the sofa a light, floating complexion, and the green vinyl upholstery provides a cool contrast to the warm, rich tone of the vintage teak frame - showing lovely vintage patina.
The vinyl upholstery shows wear and has come apart in some of the seams -
this sofa is sold as a reupholstery project.
The frame has undergone a light clean and refurbishment, finished with teak oil to nourish and protect the wood.

Our shipping partner DSV will then base the cost of shipping + delivery to your home address.
The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
