Low square top coffee table in vintage rosewood, with visible dovetail joints model 675 designed by Torben Lind and Ole Gjerløv in the 1960s and produced in Denmark by France & Son.
This low and sleek coffee table is simple and sturdy. The design, credited to Torben Lind and Ole Gjerløv, is an excellent representation of classic midcentury stying. Clean lines, expert craftsmanship and practicality.
The table shows stunning patina throughout and the staple rosewood grain pattern is deep, reddish tone of the wood. A real statement piece!
This table was originally designed as part of the 'Moduline' seating and table system, a modular system allowing the customer to arrange a series of seating and table units into their perfect suite. You can see the holes in the sides of the legs which the other sections of the system would have been fastened together to form a combined arrangement.
