1949 Hans J Wegner design model RY8 teak bookcase with 3 adjustable shelves produced by Ry Mobelfabrik, Denmark.
This bookcase is extremely well built and brilliantly versatile with 3 shelves that can be adjusted to suit your storage needs.
The shelves rest on brass supports that fit into pre-drilled positions all long the inside walls of the bookcase, these are easily removed to create the spacing that you desire
The shelves are made using solid block wood to prevent them from sagging under the weight of the objects you store or display.
The bookcase has some wonderful subtle details such as visible dowel joints on the sides and gently curved shelf fronts which give the shelves a lighter apperance
This wall unit is designed to accompany the other RY units designed by Hans Wegner. When placed together, they can make an impressive system to span a whole wall!

The delivery is to cerb-side meaning that the delivery will NOT be unpacekd or installed in your home.
It is YOUR responsibility to un-pack the items once the crate has been delivered.
Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order for furniture once we have contacted you and arranged a delivery day and time.
Delivery of furniture and large items are carried out in our own vehicle and all items will be securely blanketed and strapped down during transport
For small items that are sent by courier DPD or PARCELFORCE, we will normally send your order to you in 3 business days. International orders are generally received in under 10 days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
